Anyone seen these live? I only know (and like) their big tunes (We Want War, Elvis etc) but heard Marc Riley saying how good they are live. Anyone else seen them do their thing in the flesh?

I saw them support The Xx in March
I'd never heard of them, but it turns out they are from my home town
To be honest I was really excited when the drums and horn section got going and then the dud came on and started singing like Kasabian and I was a bit gutted..
But that's just me.

What is this? Must admit it does sound disappointing

I caught the end of their set at British Sea Power in February and they sounded pretty unlistenable to be honest.

I saw them supporting Suede at RAH back in March and it was on the basis of this show that I went out and bought the album. I was blown away, which for me happens quite rarely these days. So I'd say they are definitely worth checking out.

My mates supported these in Liverpool a few weeks back, but due to other commitments I didn't go, so can't comment...

They are great live, but the singers voice can be a bit lost in the mix sometimes, and yes he could do with working on his stage presence a bit. Check them out.
