This year I am not so bad because I have my wedding just before it which is taking up a fair bit of thought and conversation - although I do keep getting mild panic attacks that whilst I've been wasting time planning for the wedding, I've forgotten something really important I need for Glastonbury!
Even so - even my husband to be - who also wouldn't dream of our annual holiday (or honeymoon) being anywhere else - is starting to give me a look that says - "If you mention that "Plan B V Florence" dilemma one more time it's all OFF!"

I think my glastobating has gone a step further this year. I have named my new puppy Eavis!

I haven't gone this far but I think I have managed to bore my teenage son to tears about it, so much so that he will probably never want to go himself

I'm meeting up with the bunch i'm going with this year at my local in an hour, an evening of drunken Glastobation is on the cards... it could get messy

trying to get through my final exams at uni has been a nightmare. Every 10 minutes I convince myself I deserve a break from revision and end up spending far more time than i should either on here, debating where to camp (i'm going with some housemates) etc. Recently i decided i needed an opinion on whether i was happy or not with Gorillaz and so have been trawling through as many live videos of them as i can find on youtube. Still not sure.

That's the thing that makes you realise when you're really glastobating; when you try and communicate with people who haven't got a clue and think that going to Glastonbury is all about going to see 1 or 2 big acts on the pyramid stage. Having the same over-excited conversation over and over with people who know what it means is great. With just over three weeks to go it feels like just about the only think I want to talk about.

My flatmate who came last year had to cancel his ticket because of exams, so I'm trying not to mention it at home in sympathy. Every time I see the mates I'm going with though we discuss the same Glasto-related things we've already been over a million times

annoying the family with constant Glasto talk now. It's only 3 weeks away after all! Infact I talked about it all the way through my foot operation yesterday, made me forget about the pain!

Glastobation, the new, cheaper, environmentally friendly anesthesia.

I did have an anesthetic aswell, that was the most painfull but of the op, but while I was having it injected my mum went "So who are you most looking forward to seeing" and I screamed in pain: "THE NATIONAL!!". And then as the chap was doing whatever he was doing to my foot, we were chatting about glasto to take my mind of what was happening cos I get really queezy at the sight of blood, which there was alot of.

A good injection story if i've ever heard one. Another (if anybody is wondering about possible injection stories) is my brother passing out whilst watching my cousin give blood.
Similar to you with queezyness (spelling?) but instead of blood it's needles. Can't handle em, petrified of the things. Would be the worst heroin junkie ever.

This will be my 3rd time and I am always mentioning Glasto at least once a day. I enjoy having a good conversation about it with people who have been before and people who want too but there are loads of Glasto haters out there and these tend to be Reading and Leeds folk and one guy actually reckons Leeds festival is the biggest in the UK letting in 200'000 people. GLASTO till I DIE!!!!!

My mates a starting to get a little sick of me talking about Glasto for the last 6 weeks. As we are all 'office based' in our jobs, we set up our own little Glasto forum (well i set it up) via emails. Needless to say i tend to me the ones with questions, emotions and general excitement about the festival.....it must be as they all went last year while i was travelling the world so its my first year.
In the end they got so fed up with my emails that i think they blocked me, ha! Hence drifting on to this forum where i can speak to like minded Glasto enthusiastic people.
Right better let them all know i bought some wellies this weekend and 72 cans of beer/cider (Morrisons), i know they are dying to hear from me......

Aaw that's actually quite a good name for a dog, thinking about it.
I talk Glasto to pretty much everyone I come into contact with. Thankfully my family and some of my friends are just as obsessed as I am so it works out quite well.
We do the obsessing in shifts to avoid spontaneous combustion.
