I dont think relying on something that costs the same as a pair of underwear is going to be safe!

Good point  :P

Might buy the Argos £6.50 one as a secondary tent to keep some of my stuff in.

Just thinking you could get a few cheap tents to surround your own tent, and them you'd have no worries about troublesome neighbours!

And leave no room for all the other people trying to camp?  :P

I am a bit bemused by that - the four man says its got a 2000mm HH, but its only suitable for light showers?

Like the look of the Regatta tho.

The two man's for my 17 year old son TBH. I'm thinking a good drenching should be part of your glastonbury experience at that age. Character forming.

Put it up last night, straight forward to put up, and i've left it up overnight and through the rain today.... All good!!!  :P

Bottom of Pennards on Friday morning in 2005 after a monster storm - however,  massive F/O great land drains have since been installed so the chances of anything even remotely similar happening are highly unlikely ... allegedly !

I have camped in Dairy last two years but we were thinking of doing Pennards as far down the hill as we can........is it one of those areas always prone to flooding or was that picture just a freak occurance?

I'm pretty sure that is the same as mine. Bought it on a whim last summer for an impromptu camping sesh, and I am too skint to get a good one now, so this will have to do.

Basically I am praying for no rain.

seams a lot off ppl nocking cheap tent deals etc been camping for years got a cheep argos tent (£24) its been to 5 glastos not one leak never had a problem even with the realy wet glasto end of the day golden rules of camping dont touch the tent when its raning makes sure nothing is touching the side when raining even a tent costing you £200 + will leak if anything touches the sides off the tent ...only thing that is a good thing to think of is to get one with a outer bit for your muddy wellys or boots
