I'm buying a new tent for Rockness, only me and my partner staying in it but fancied a 3 man for a bit of extra room, currently looking at this

Looks ok and best price I can find.  Anyone have any other good 3 man tents for around the same price?

There's 50% off tents at Halfords online - you might get extra pennies off there?

Little festival tip, steer clear of any black tent, you'll wake up roasted alive and totally zapped in the morning if its anyway sunny out, and by the time you try and change in your tent you'll be all sweaty again in your nice clean clothes, best go for the lighter colours grey and blue.

Also the bigger/taller the tent the better for ventilation making it cooler.

I left my old 3-man halfords tent at Rockness last year, I'd gotten a lot of use out of it, but the heat inside it at every festival was doing my nuts in, I'd had enough, opted for a big 4-man beast of a tent in Aldi equipped with a giant walk in porch and 2 rooms, the difference is unreal, this new one is so much cooler during the mornings/afternoon when your most likely using it.

Just don't buy a black tent whatever you do!

How much'd u pay for it in aldi? I found this Confidence Mars 4 Man Tent on Amazon for £30, which comes in a lovely turquoise and blue colour. Gonna get one on friday when I'm paid I reckon.

I got it for 45 euro last june, they were selling at 90 in Aldi but I knew somebody that worked in the warehouse :P

I dunno if they're on sale this year again, I havent been down to have a look at any camping gear yet. Adventuridge is the brand name though and they are well worth the price, built like brick shithouses with all the mod cons, but they way a f**kin tonne so you need a solid set of wheels to get it from your car to the campsite.
