Totally agree - I was getting goosebumps thinking about U2 at Glasto... have seen them shed loads of times since back to Joshua Tree and they truly know how to put on a show.  Get well soon Bono!

I won't be anywhere near U2 at the big G (if it goes ahead), but for all the people who want to see them, I hope he recovers in time.

I am with this thread in the hope that he does get better in time for the festival, I have never had the opportunity to see them live and I do love their music....

A thought I had in the positive was that he was due to be in America just before Glasto, he is now recovering in Ireland, much easier with the whole volcano spouting to get from Ireland than the States, all considering he gets better of course...

Get Well Bono....

yeh surely hes been told how long the recovery will take and if its 6 weeks or longer he would have pulled out asap to give them time to find a replacement?

that's wot i was thinking  . i mean its not long now and unless there's behind the scenes talking if you know wot i mean then there still hopefully going to play .
like you say they would be pretty quick to announce some other head liner i just hope it doesn't :P  come to that   :P
