Went last year for the first time and to be honest a little dissapointed....not very green or alternative....even had TKMaxx and Pizza Express stands in the arena!
A step up from V and Reading but still pretty corporate...

I went to Bestival the year before last and absolutely loved it. A nice sized festival with friendly folk, I can't wait to go again this year, a great way to wrap up the festival season!
Each to their own I think but it's nothing like V or Reading!
Tickets have all sold out from offical outlets.

It's a shame that they've allowed the corporates in, but the cost of the 2008 clearup required some money in to cover the insurance policies. That said It's still pretty laid back and plenty of things to discover beyond the music - a really nice way to end the festival season.
Unfortunately for the OP the festival sold out on Monday!
