As an unashamed Coldplay fan, I hope they do play next year :P Even more reason to start saving for next G2011 ticket...

ooh, i'd quite like to see coldplay next year, but i'd prefer to have the strokes or r.e.m
so many coldplay haters out there. fair enough, if you don't like them but i hate those people that go to the effort of telling everyone how much they hate coldplay, constantly.
it'll be the topic of conversation in our camp next year, every single day.
i think all the coldplay haters secretly like them, considering they go on about them more than the confessed fans

I don't mind them but they only headlined a couple of years ago. Give somebody else a chance.

We are indeed. I wouldn't have booked them either. Only Radiohead should headline every other year.

We've had some inspired choices in recent years, Neil Young, Stevie, Blur, Jay Z etc. Why go back to somebody who's headlined twice already since 2002?

It was 2005, the eavis seem to think Muse can return in a similar time frame so why not?

Would be awesome I imagine :P

I've already said I wouldn't have booked Muse again either. Coldplay get duller with each album. I'd have welcomed a headline set from them around the time of Rush of Blood to the Head but they're getting wetter and wetter every year.

though didn't they only headline that year because kylie minogue was forced to pull out? just realised they headlined 2002 as well.
i agree that they should have someone different, which is why i suggested the strokes.
i think chemical brothers must be in with a good shout considering their new album's out in a couple of weeks.

I'd still go if Coldplay played.

I'd just sure as hell not be bloody watching them.

Much like U2.

Nah Basement Jaxx replaced Kylie in 05. I'd love to see the Strokes but I can't help think they'd struggle to do themselves justice in a headline slot. Like the Arctic Monkeys a couple of years ago their sound is a bit too stripped down to fill the space if that makes any sense?

I'd be getting my ticket regardless of who was playing to be honest, just think three headline slots in less than ten years is a bit much. That's just over once every three years.

Glasto have a history of booking headline acts that you wouldn't expect in the past so i'd like to see more surprises.
