Alright guys,

As I am from Inverness, I thought I would take a drive along to Loch Ness to see if there had been any changes to Clunes Farm in preparation for Rockness.

I posted a few photos on my Rockness Facebook Group. Some of the gravel tracks have been laid on the campsite. Also took a few photos of the backdrop of the main stage.. and for those who havn't been to this festival yet, trust me.. its pretty awesome, photos just don't do justice!

It is photo 5 out of 6 in the album. That is where the main stage is set up.

Ground was very dry and hard at the moment! It looks like it has been rolled etc, and gravel tracks are now out. It was really strange wandering about the site when there is nothing there.. Lets just hope the weather in June is what it was like today - Blue skies and glorious sunshine!

I've always wondered where all the sheep and other farm animals end up going during festivals. Not so much Rockness as there is only a handful of sheep on Clunes farm but for festivals like Glastonbury. Anyway back to topic, the tents and stages should start being put up around next weekend.

Naw be a bit longer than that, fencing will go up around end of the month.. tents/stages will be in the last 7 or so days (if that!)

Ayye, the fencing will be going up first like you said.Last year the staging arrived about a week before. A good friend of mine owns Caley Marina in Inverness and in previous years we have taken out a speedboat to check out how festival ground is shaping up a few days before!

My dad works in Inverness and his work once had to supply Rockness with some sort of weights/counter balances to hold things down as whatever stuff they use to pin tents etc down wouldn't go through the ground. Rock solid stuff haha
