I'm going to Hard Rock Calling on the friday when Pearl Jam headline along with The Gaslight Anthem, Wolfmother and Ben Harper. Browsing the web I noticed Social Distortion will also be joining them? Seeing that, my face lit up to the possibility another awesome band will be there aswell. On many sites it has them down as playing there, including this one: http://www.royalpark..._release_13.cfm However, on the official HRC website (and facebook page) says nothing about Social Distortion whatsoever. Are they just rumours or to be confirmed? I'd really like to know, thanks!

Not sure, Efestivals still have them as TBC.
Would love them to play so hope they do.
I know they had to change drummers a while back so maybe they said not to announce us to nearer the time.

If I remember correctly, the rumour originated from an e-mail SeeTickets sent out to customers. So either they were confirmed, and pulled out, or are confirmed, and are holding back the announcement... I don't think See would send unofficial information.

Could possibly be an unannounced act, afterall, they haven't announced Macca's support yet and there are still rumours about other bands, like The National, too.
