Who does everyone think will be the star of the show, apart from the obvious, a band who are on the up and will take everyone by storm?

Good question. Great things were expected of Fleet Foxes last yeaar but it never really came to anything. I guess Vampire Weekend have got quite a big slot on the pyramid before Dizzee and U2, but not sure they could be described as 'on the up' anymore.
Maybe Mumford and Sons? Although I still think they would have been better suited to The Park (weren't they originally rumoured to be playing up there?), than the John Peel. I never enjoy bands in the John Peel during the day.

When will jamie t get on the other stage, he played really intense, brilliant gigs on JP stage, 2007 and 2008

I think jamie t is far more sutied to a mental JP tent crowd. think it'd just lack something outside.
well gutted im going to miss him due to muse, but was front row for him last year , cant miss muse on the pyramid

I'd go for LCD, The National or Mumfords.
I think George Clinton will be pretty spectacular also.
It's a brilliantly diverse lineup this year.

I am gutted that LCD Soundsystem are clashing with Faithless. I think they will put on a great show but I just can't miss Faithless at sunset on the Pyramid.
The XX and Foals combination in the JP should be great.
The National.

Must confess hardly listened to the XX. Think I gave their album one listen on my pod but then forgot about them. I'll be sure to listen to em properly before the big week.
I was worried about Faithless and LCD but after seeing LCD in Manchester I just know they will be brilliant plus it looks like it will be LCD's last tour where as I can see an opportunity to see Faithless coming up again albeit maybe not in Glasto.

The XX album is a real grower. I'm not sure they are headline material as at the Park stage but they shoul dbe great in the JP. Lovely vocals and haunting tunes.
The LCD/Faithless is a real dilemma. I kept saying that Faithless will always be around but the last time I saw them was T in the Park in 2004!
Maybe, just maybe, if the mood takes me and the album really gets me giddy, then I'll sway to LCD but I doubt it

I suspect it could be The National. Or Hot Chip could break through to being truly big

Think Delphic have a chance of riding the electro/synth pop revival that's happening atm - playing twice over the weekend and could do something methinks.
Would love to see Hybrid and Sub Focus step up to that next level they deserve too - if Pendulum managed it then they both certainly can.

I reckon Fanfarlo will impress this year, our very own Arcade Fire. I can't wait to see them.
Oh and I'm a newbie, hello!!!!!
