anybody else really looking forward to seeing aeroplane on the fri dance west 3.30pm?
iv got loads of mixes by them but never managed to see them.

been listening to there essential mix from circus in liverpool today. great for the sunshine.

this is one of my faves off that mix and hope they play it at glasto.

I think they are fantastic, I saw them at Benicassim last year when everyone else was watching 2manyDjs play the same records for the 10,000th time.

Not quite sure how it'd work in a muddy tent in Glastonbury when the music should be heard at some uber-cool beach bar.

Shamefully never heard of them until that 500th essential mix was on a few weeks back.  Was underwhelmed when they announced it because they were new to me.  Listened anyway, and loved it, so I will definitely be there!

haha 2manydjs they been flogging that dead horse for time. how shit were they lastyear? i buggerd off to scratch perverts.

not much i want to see in the dance village apart from these guys. might try and catch a bit of horsemeatdisco aswell.

that friendly fires mix is quality, another of my faves.

Same here, it was the first mix of thiers that i really noticed.

agree would be miles better if they were on later but im just glad to be seeing them after missing out so many times.

Been a big fan of Aeroplane for a while now and they just seem to be getting better and better. Saw them last year in Belgium and will be catching them again at the same festival this summer, which will no doubt be one of the highlights of the weekend   I've managed to track down a few tunes off the Essential Mix but the one I'd love to get hold of is the Crave You/Paris Mash up. However it's probably something they've done for themselves and won't see the light of day unless they're feeling very generous.

Some others on a similar vibe that are worth checking out are the Twelves, the Revenge, Pete Herbert, Tensnake, Todd Terje, Crazy P/Hot Toddy, Faze Action, DCUP, Grum, Breakbot, Black Van, Phonat and the legend that is Fred Falke  

I DJ at a monthly disco/funk/house night in Norwich and put a mix together of this sort of stuff that anyone's welcome to download and listen to if they want (just click on the two little squares next to the blue text to download): Link

Any of you guys catch Aeroplane in the dance village. I thought it was pretty cool although the sound was a bit lame and only Vito was there (they have split up apparently) good reaction when he played a mix of girls and boys by blur..
