Some of you will be aware of Rooney, my beloved dog. Despite health problems, he was diabetic, he was a happy, loyal, lovable scamp. You may have noticed I am talking in the passed tense, yes, tonight Rooney sadly passed away. The reason I am posting on here is to ask if anyone knows if it will be possible to have him burried at Glastonbury, at the stone circle would be nice but anywhere would do. Rooney is in the shed tonight and my plan is to place him in a temporary grave in the morning, before moving him next month.
I am really cut up about this, so please no jokes about him already having a ticket.

I can't answer to your question, but my condolences on your loss.
A good dog is one of the best friends that anyone ever gets, and losing one is always tough...just like losing a friend.

Good luck on an answer to your question.

(Maybe if he were cremated the ashes could be scattered?)

:P Condolences from myself and Kaiser

Ashes sounds like a good idea.  You will be able to get him cremated on his own if that's what you want to do.

You're too dry for this world, tommmy.

I reckon you should have him skinned and make yourself a mask. Problem sorted and his death won't have been in vain.

I have just burried Rooney in the garden and on reflection that is where I am going to leave him. Emotions took over last night and I Was forgetting that I may not even be admitted to the festival, also if my luggage was searched it may look a bit odd. Probably gonna take his collar and bowl and do something with those, I will make my mind up nearer the time.

Rooney

Death isn't the handicap it used to be - they can do wonders nowadays.  I hope he's better for the World Cup.

Good grief, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  I think some of the Aboriginals used to bury their dead standing up inside hollow trees.  Perhaps you could find one at Glastonbury?  I can bring you some clay and ochre body paint to help with getting ready for the traditional ceremonies if you like.

Get your dog cremated and scatter him at the stone circle. Don't thing Eavis would allow you to bury him on site
