That would be amazing, another one who caught part of her set in 2008 and thought she was fab.

slightly worrying though, if Candi Staton pulls that sort fo crowd in 2007 on Jazz World, how packed out would the Park be? she must be one of the 8pm slots is my guess and given the amount of people there then I'd guess the Friday "Special Guests" slot to keep down some of the crowds..

She played a couple of weeks ago at The Band on The Wall up in Manchester.

This is a superb venue - holds I guess about 300 people max, and she tore the place up - and the sound was stunning.  Band on The Wall is re-opened after a couple of years for major major renovation (Thanks to some ££'s from the arts council, lottery & europe ) - good job they got that in before the tories cut everything to the bone !!

Anyway - she is well worth seeing...
