Will have to send that site to my dad - he's a member of that strange species called bus spotters and will love it!

I've seen this site before - never thought to post a link to it though. Professional courtesy I suppose. You see, I have to deal with people like this all the time for my job.
They're completely harmless folk (some are really quite lovely), but incredibly odd!!! Bless them.

Worse than train spotters?
Always seem to be a heavy presence of them at Reading Rail Station...

I have to contend with train spotters too.
I would say - in my professional experience and personal opinion - that bus/coach spotters are a LOT weirder than train spotters, but far more friendly.
Not that train spotters are unfriendly.
It's odd really - this country is totally f**ked, manners and goodwill to all men have long since been thrown out of the window, yet some of the most stereotypically ridiculed groups of people - the spotters out there - are some of the friendliest people you could ever meet.
All they want is to see some trains/buses. They're happy when they do, and go home. They bring their own lunches, are polite and considerate to people they encounter and are rarely a nuisance.
Spotting FTW!!

I keep meaning to ask you...you don't happen to post on a football stadiums message board too do you?
There's one I used to go on loads but don't anymore....there was a Wolves fan who was constantly on that too!
I'm wondering what sort of job can involve dealing with train and bus spotters!

Nah - just this and a Wolves forum. Though I do think ground hopping is awesome. One day - if I ever win the lottery - I'm doing the 92. Only done about 45-50.
I don't deal with the spotters as part of my job, merely that I need to work with bus stops/train stations every so often and they're often around the place. Hard to avoid them most of the time.

I've got about 35 at the moment, a couple of which I've lost due to teams leaving grounds or dropping out of the league!
Cardiff and Blackpool would be the two good ones to come up via the play-offs for me as I've not been to their grounds yet. (Although I went to Ninian Park last season in the FA Cup)
