Booze at Glasto threads always make good reading!
Although my name suggests otherwise, Red Stripe is my canned lager of choice. Took 48 cans last year.
My wake up drink of choice is a power point. It consists of vodka, red bull and WKD Blue. Gets the day off to a great start.
Last year I took port in a hip flask, which was a nice treat in the evenings. Less so when it was the only thing I had to wash down an asprin at 6am on Sunday...
Boxes of wine are also a good idea. I also like a couple of bottles of the pre-mixed Ribena to give the liver a rest.
I'm going to make more of an effort to keep it cool this year but it's never that bad. I normally leave a few cans in a bucket of water.

I like to take Captain Morgan rum mixed with Old Jamaica fiery ginger beer, stored in the Old Jamaica 2l bottles. It's the ginger beer you use that makes all the difference, as it needs to be really strong - that way it still tastes magic when warm. Use weak ass ginger ale and it tastes rank. It's dangerously tasty though.

So far my tasting is going well.
Jelly Babies don't break down very well and absorb the vodka, may turn into a fun festival sweet instead
Fruit salad dissolves really well and tastes great, mixes nicely with soda water.

its like this!!
wake up around 7 -8 have a tin of strongbow that was lying outside all night, add a sachet of diraolite (whatever its called) then have a smoke, glass of water and another strongbow.
go to the pyramid get a tuna roll and chill for 2 hours. Wake up get a few glasses of wine in and send your mate round to get 2 pints of brothers each.
Chill again, maybe a qiuck 20 min sleep then wake up like a mental and go to a stage and dance while drinking a pint u got on the way.
after this the light weights should be in full flow, so either have another pint or get the vodka out of your bag and but a chilled 500ml bottle of diet coke. Then when all your mates are starting to boogie, you can go mental!!
After that you got wine, vodka and prob a tin of bow left in your bag. JUST GOING f**kING NUTS!!
This is my routine from Thursday morning.
Have fun

I'll just be taking a load of lagerm I mean it's 5 days..so a lot of lager for day time drinking and around campsite...I don't bother with spirits till night
stone circle time etc, get the spirits out
Although, I'm gonna try not to drink as much this year, I don't seem to recover as quickly anymore, went out 2 nights in a row this week, drunk way too much and felt just sketchy for ages, not hungover, just really crap...headache and all, wasn't like a normal hangover, and I can still function properly..just too much effort

Gin and Tonic in the main for me. Laaaaarverly stuff.
Although does anyone know if you can get hold of bottles/cans of tonic water on site? Im trying to travel a bit lighter this year and would much prefer to just take the gin and buy the tonic there (if im carrying it in it ends up with not a lot of tonic, which usually means the first few swigs are a bit, err, sudden, given its mainly gin).
A crate of lager and a bag or two of wine come in handy too. And I can also reccomend skittles/sherbert lemon vodka, as others have on this thread- much improved on plain voddy.
