Friendly Fires? I saw their set from last year, and thought they looked brilliant. Though I guess the chances of them playing look slim considering they ain't been announced yet
. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?

In short, no. I really enjoy Friendly Fires and I've seen them a few times. I think they're good for the Summery atmosphere, as are Vampire Weekend, Jack Penate & MGMT, none of which are playing. But the line ups still immense and theres more bands I'd like to see that I haven't already, so I'll cope.

I knowingly heard MGMT for the first time last week whenever my girlfriend was driving me about in North Wales. Not wholly remarkable but they are quite good - what's funny about their sound is that they can make dated music sound modern and interesting... bit like M83. In 20 years time I don't think they'll be remembered, though.

Not really any chance now. They are at a few other festivals anyway.

They are playing LED on the 28th in London though so slight possibility...

Can't see where they'd be slotted now as I'd guess they'd make the jump to Main Stage if they were to play.
