I'm a 'girl' and I dislike shopping too! Food and clothes too lol. Buying festival things is exciting though

Food & clothes shopping is the absolute worst! Hate it. I do love buying my funky festival stuff though :P

And a bungle-bear hat/mask for the top.

That would be f**ked up. Bungle suit with f**kholes.

My friend baked another friend a rainbow cake for her birthday last week. She iced Zippy, George & Bungle (without f**kholes, I hasten to add) + the rainbow, of course, on it...it was amazing  :P

Hey Di!! Haha don't I just know that you love your festie shopping! I'm gonna try make a final decision on a tent this weekend :P & opting for walking boots instead of wellies this year cos hoping there'll be a bit more supportive of my gammy knee...
I am still trying to convince Hunters they should let me have a pair of their new adjustable wellies in Fuchsia Pink ahead of the July release date!!

just make a small hole in each kip bag around the fun area , this way rumpy pumpy can be initiated without the added hastle of getting in or out of each other sleeping bags :P +  from a mans point of view , you dont get left with any wet patches .

up there for thinking , down there for dancing

We've got a double sleeping bag and we love it, think it's a Vango. Loads of room in it and zips down both sides. I tend to pump out enough heat to power a small town when I'm sleeping and she is always freezing so it works out nicely. :P

I've never slept so well in a tent. Can't reccommend the Vango enough!

There would be an old bailey court case if I and the Mrs shared a double sleeping bag...

She snores as badly as I do and we would kill each other.

However duvets all the way,

For camping

Take 2  double dovets, one for the airbed and one for on top, and then a couple of blankets... its awesome..

Festivals

1 dovet for on top and then buy at said venue/feild, a couple of blankets and use them... its perfect, no issues and then when you do fall out, you can take the blankets off in a huff, get out a chair and get muntered in the porch on whatever...

At the end of the festival return the blankets or take them home..

(I have about 15 hospital blankets and throws at home from festivaling)

Double Airbed then a cheap kingsized duvet for me and the missus, you can buy the cheap duvets from Asda/Tescos and theyre already packed into a smaller bag.

Me and the Mr bought two very cheap (£7) supermarket sleeping bags and just zipped them together - less bulky than carrying a double sleeping bag! Just make sure you buy square bottomed bags that are the same make and they should zip together just fine :P Much warmer with 2 in a bag so they don't need to be posh thick ones :P

Happy camping Cxxx

i would really recommend getting separate sleeping bags. i've always been very comfortable cuddled up with my gf, but at festivals, its just not worth it. hangovers, heat, sweat and uncomfortable ground. i'd just share a tent.

I go solo (Mrs GrumpyHack doesn't do camping) but I still take two sleeping bags that zip together to make a double as I like a bit of space.  What's really useful is a cotton inner liner (like two sheets sewn together).  If it's really hot you can open up the sleeping bag but you're still covered and keep the draught out.

The normal hunters are just too tight on the calf i can't get jeans inside they do adjustable ones in Navy and Black they are Launching Fuschia, Chocolate and Aubergine but not until July!! the cahp I have been talking to via email was tring to get me a display pair but to no avail, so now I have added wellies to my shopping list my lovely ones from last year split in the snow!
