On there facebook page, dont know what it is, but seeing as Glasto is about the only festy for them to be announced for... well i guess we'll see

although lord knows where, opening the sat Pyramid?

Have they said they are announcing an appearance at a UK festival then?

now they dont have a new album as its already out so...granted im adding 1+1 and probably making 3, but you never know

It's a big UK tour. They're doing arena shows, SECC and Aberdeen arena have both been confirmed already.

just did a bit of digging and they announced that on their website last week (the shows) then they have put up about tonights announcement, i suppose it could be the rest of the uk (im clutching at straws for Glasto)

We can live in hope but it kind of seems unlikely Unless they are opening and was ment to be this weeks glasto announcement until Dead Weather confirmed!

Not to hijack the thread here, but was the Dead Weather this week's announcement?

I am also holding out for a Biffy announcement for Glasto, but I think that I'll be disapointed though!!

OMG don't do this to me! I really really REALLY hope they play glasto, but I've a feeling I'll be disappointed. I though Biffy at Glsto this year was a bit of a no brainer, but hey ho

I know me too   Still, plenty to see and I can't complain Muse ARE headlining so that makes me a very happy camper!!

We don't know, that was pure speculation, the band confirmed Saturday, and glastonbury did today...so could have been a case of crossed wires and Glastonbury wanted to say, with biffy meant to be announced this week Again all speculation but it's possible it's worked out something like that, or of course biffy ain't playing and they are announcing more arena shows

Ok I see!!  I hope it is someone else as well, Dead Weather are ace, but I am just getting greedy now!
