The Joy Formidable, opening Other Stage on Sunday. Self confirmed on twitter and facebook. Good addition in my view, good band.

Just came on to say the same. Only Sky Larkin and Them Crooked Vultures would make me happier. Up early on Sunday for me!

Best news of the morning so far. Seen them countless times and off to Belfast / Dublin to see them at the end of the month - probably one of the best live bands you'll be likely to see.

Great news! Saw them at The Joiners in Southampton and they blew the roof off the place!

Good news but hope they play somewhere a little more intimate later on, Other stage may be a bit big for them at this point IMHO

Anyone watch them this year? I intended to go down and check them out but never made it.
Just seen they've got a tour for early next year with tickets going on sale on Friday.

I did. Sunday morning. I thought they were fantastic. My 'discovery' of the weekend. quite fancy the lead singer too.
I might be catching them next month in New York

I saw them and the Manchester gig mentioned above. They were great both times and the highlight of my Sunday was them and the lack of queues at the bar on the Other stage whilst they were playing. Got nicely drunk and then ruined the day by watching football. Thankfully, that I was nicely drunk, means I remember very little of the happenings in South Africa!!

Wow. 16 posts and no-one has slagged the band in question off yet. Surely an eFests record.

Think I'll be getting some tickets then.
Bit skint at the moment, but could do with some gigs or something to keep me entertained at the start of next year

We saw them at Leeds this year , we were sat outside the NME1 tent catching some sun watching it on
the big screen.
A minute into the first song the singer starts to smash her guitar , seconds later we were off our
feet and heading into the tent.
