What would you people think about getting in Park Home Ground near or along the railway track so near the medical place?

Hard to say when we will get parked up by 9 - 10am on the Wednesday.

I can not see you having any trouble getting space in Park Home Ground at that time in the morning, you will basically have your pick of the vast majority of the field.

I'll probably be at park home ground (or if that's full dairy ground) this year.  Or, if I really can't be bothered to walk very far from the coach drop-off point then it'll be around michael's mead probably, though that seems to be a bit of a walk from everything else.

I camped at the park home ground last year for the first time and it was great. Very friendly atmosphere.

How the heck do you all manage to find your way to a specific campsite?! Is it the many years you've been going? I had my first year last year, kind of stumbled into pretty much the closest site to the car park, no idea what it was called as after all the queueing in the cars for hours couldn't be arsed to walk very far. Had pretty long walks to the arenas etc every day though so that was a bit crap...didn't think of that bit did I?!

Are the different campsites actually signposted or clearly marked at entrances or do you have to "feel" that you are in the right place?! Honestly I spent pretty much the whole time there getting lost wherever I wanted to get to!

I'm sure there's a bit more logic to the whole thing or an easier way...isn't there  :P

I'll do what I did last year, walk into the site for about 10 minutes from whichever gate I go in, find a spot and pitch my tent, I honestly dont care where I camp. I had about a half hour walk back to my tents last year, was near the family camping and thoroughly enjoyed the walking about to and from my tent each day.
