Anyone else starting to annoy people?

My friend has said his wife is getting really annoyed with him and his constant updating on all things Glasto. Line up, plans, clashfinder, camping etc. My wife stropped out of the living room when Shakira came on the TV, and I casually mentioned that she would be playing. As she left she said "I don't give a **** who is playing or what you will be doing at bloody Glasto, you are starting to bore me now!"
Just wondered if anyone else has been lambasted by friends or family for constant Pre-Glastobation.

Yup. It started after ticket day in October.
I'm surprised I'm still married actually.

The beat came on 6 music at work earlier and i casually said "Their playing at glastonbury" My colleague said "so, what do you want a f%*kin medal?". Luckily my girlfriend is joining me this year so is just as excited as I am otherwise it could of been a the same situation there.

I talk about it from the day I get the tickets, till at least a month after it's happened. I think August and September are the only months I probably don't constantly go on about it!

Yeah. I'm pretty much banned from talking about it at home. The wife don't care, don't want to care and would never ever ever go to a festival (shit taste in music and loathes camping). Most other people just give the polite, non-commital agreement noise and nod their head when I start and I know they don't give a flying wossname BUT I'M TOO EXCITED! WHY DON'T THEY GET IT!!!

After 15 years of going and obsessing, I have now learned not to say anything, even in the years that my wife does go, she still can't get over how much I go on about it.
I use email to mates as a release for my torrent of glasto ramblings

Yeah pretty sure i am, but to be fair its to a GlastoVirgin for this year, so after hes been he will understand why i bang on about it so much to him, but for just know, i think he wonders, "chaz what the F**k, i know you like it but how good can it actually be"
Oh he is going to be saying "ohhhh i get it now" afterwards

Woth me, the line between talking about how good one year's was and hyping the next one up is well and trully non-existent. So there's pretty much talk of the Big G all year round!

The thing is, a lot of my mates are coming yet they don't appreciate the emails I send them with updated news, preliminary travel plans, lists of must-see acts etc.
They will do eventually, just a lot nearer the date like the sensible folk they are.
It's probably why I post on here so much - you lot understand!!

The forums are pretty much my therapy for it. But that annoys my wife, as my time on them rises exponentially the closer the festival gets. She just doesn't get me!

not family/friends just yet (apart from when I phoned my sister to squeal about the line-up!) but I do think I'm starting to annoy my colleagues - they're not really festie/music peeps, so it's all a bit lost on them. They're slightly amused and bemused by how excited I'm getting!

Work colleagues just grunt at what I say, and then turn the conversation onto something far more interesting like Politics or Religion.

I annoy my friends that I'm going with, I dont think they're really bothered who's playing and what's on where as much as I am

I've banned myself from mentioning it in work, In fact I'm starting to bore myself as it seems it's my only topic of conversation with my mates that are going, and most of them dont seem obsessed at all.
Aaaggghhhh!!!

Luckily enough there's a few of us at work who are all into the spirit.... so when the lineup came out there was plenty to talk about
