I'd definately say he's big enough, he's played some huge gigs, got plenty of hits and is popular with a wide range of people.

I think it's terrible news.  Truly shocking.  It's up there with the atrocities in Rwanda, the Beslan school siege, the Vietnam war and Mark McGhee keeping Steve Bull and Robbie Keane on the bench for the FA Cup Semi Final against Arsenal in 1998.

Certainly worthy of yet another thread.

Cock.

Something like that would tempt me away from Hot Chip, hell his already sort of tempting me, but that would full band type set up would be a deal breaker for me, would make an excellent evening :P
He'll be playing with the same band that he used for the Electric Proms, I should think. He's definitely using the same guitarist; Guthrie Govan, who is arguably one of the finest jazz fusion guitarists alive today.

I think I'm in the same boat as a lot of people, I have zero time for Dizzee playing on his own, but put him in a band situation and he really shines.

Not a great fan - his performance with Florence at the Brits was great though - whats the chance of a repeat at Glasto seeing as she is coming off the Other Stage as he is coming onto the Pyramid ??

wow bit surprised so many have a problem with Dizzee, he's deff big enough to be high up on the bill, he's played a lot of festivals, always puts on a great performance..and has plenty of hits

if you don't like him..don't watch him :P

King Kong, dizzee + florence at glasto would be AMAZING,

Sure another masive album or two and making his sets more spectacle then just getting the crowd jumping. Actually just given the chance I am sure he would put more of spectacle, his going be massive no doubt, his liked and respected by people not really into hip-hop. He seems to love Glasto, I am sure they will be trying to get him to his first major festival headline in a few years.

Good shout for after the fallow year actually!

I'm sure I remember seeing him in a mini-interview saying something along the lines of how he doesn't like Glastonbury and didn't understand why other people do...
I think it was last year, during the opening titles to BBC's coverage
