I posted on here looking for a phone earlier in the week and thanks to someone who reccomended me the Nokia 1208, reviews look amazing on amazon with a two week battery life! ALthough it was £20 with no credit sim free on amazon, if you go to the website below and enter the code PG782 in the promotion code box you get TWO for £14.99, both sim free and both with £5 t-mobile credit, not bad ey! So that's £14.99 for two brand new sim free nokia 1208s and £10 t-mobile credit.

Review of phone here: http://www.amazon.co...;pf_rd_i=468294

and buy it here: http://www.prepayman....html?source=af

Hope you find it useful

Thanks for the link, I've been looking for a glasto phone, pretty sure my current mobile wouldn't last two days let alone the week!

I ordered one, but surely these will be locked to T-mobile rather than sim free? I'm not too fussed as I've got a T-mobile contract sim I can put in anyway.

Cheers.

Normally it's just My best friend and I that go to glasto and she lives in the orange chill and charge tent - its like her phone is surgically attached to her wrist.

Its so frustrating, we have missed bands because of it and I'm the opposite - glasto means escapism for me phone is OFF!

I'll defo be sending her this link thankyou very much.

Great deal, but wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy plenty of spare batteries from eBay for your main phone?

That's funny I've just been looking for cheap phone for my mum (not for Glasto though!) and found this Nokia  from Argos for £4.99!!!

http://www.argos.co....ctId=1500665373

It's on Orange which supposedly has the best coverage at Glasto. My O2 phone was next to useless last year.

But at £4.99 you can't go wrong.  I will say I've not tried it yet so can't 100% guarantee it but with Nokia you usually get  a good product

The problem with thr £4.99 Nokia from Argos is they add £10 of credit on automatically and I don't want or need that.

O2 was shite last year so I'm taking my work SIM which is Orange, but don't fancy losing my work phone so could do with a cheapy one..

Been mulling over the thought of taking my iphone and all the worry/battery issues that go along with it for a while now, I rely on it for so much day to day stuff it'll be very odd not having it around, but this deal has swayed me that I don't need email or internet for the duration.

Thanks OP, that's me and the other half sorted for the week, can anyone advise on the best SIM only Orange deal? Or is T mobile coverage reasonable on the site.

i got a nokia 1208 last year for glasto as i wasn't going to take my iphone, brilliant little thing. it has an LED torch on the top that's ideal for stumbling back drunk and trying to find your fags/lighter/caramel rocky bar/green in the night

I'm leaving my phone at home, If I get lost on Wednesday and don't turn up until Monday morning it is because that is what the Glasto gods intended.

Thanks, I may have to invest in that offer.

I got an N97 a couple of months ago, amazing phone but the battery doesnt last more than 2 days so will be no good for over the whole weekend, plus the camera appears to be worse than my old N82 even though it's the same one :s

What about getting one of these instead?  I bought my hubby one just for festivals, so you can charge on the go.
