Good to here you've changed your mind Rufus. Are you bringing more of those 5 litre containers of manky cider?
I promise that I
will attempt to stay up for a 24 hour period at least once.
will eat more pies than last year (this may prove difficult)
will get some pics of Billy Bragg for the mrs.

I promise to not get so mashed on the Thursday night that I can't sleep on Friday morning, thus totally wasting a day. (Although the dawn on Friday at the stone circle was worth it last year)

Langdale Wolf, on Apr 15 2010, 03:22 PM, said:I HAVE to do this too. I'm rubbish at staying up due to over-exertion during the day.
I'm going to try and make sure I don't retire for the night before 2am.
I definately need to pace myself better, so may have to drink more water & stay off of the beer & stuff until after midday.

This relates to my above point. Didn't get to experience the weirdy fields poperly last year (It's not the same in daylight).

This year at Glastonbury I promise myself that I will drink responsibly and not upset my mum's Glastonbury.
EDIT: and on a side not I also intend to stay up later.

BH, he's having you on.
I will...
Get to the park!
Not have a mad day like Saturday last year in which I saw a gazillion bands but literally ran between stages.
Go and listen to a speech/debate
Find the veggies stall (and ergo my friend Helen)
Work out a way of getting a larger supply of alcohol in, I'm only taking my rucksack this year AND am going to Avebury beforehand, mission!

1.) Visit Shangri La and go mental
2.) Get massively drunk (last year I never really got very drunk :S)
3.) Make lots of new friends
4.) Kiss a random stranger
5.) Go and get my palm read at the healing field!

2) Make something at green crafts
3) See sunrise in at the stone circle.

Edi M, on Apr 15 2010, 04:08 PM, said:I'm another one who can't stay awake.
The problem lies in the fact that I get up far too early (usually around 6am) hard to explain I'm just one of life's Larks.
So starting this weekend I'm going to start to train myself to lie in.
It's so hard to lie in at Glasto though when it's nice and sunny like it will be this year
You more or less have to be completly starkers when you wake up in the morning because it gets like a damn oven!
The trouble is when you go to bed you ither wrap up to keep nice and warm or you pass out due to being so drunk etc and when you wake up its boiling and you think you've been swimming?

I have a little one man tent and I always get dressed/undressed outside. At on festival I was having a full strip wash and I heard a really posh woman shout "Edwina you avert your eyes this instant". For a moment I thouight was in a bloody Period drama.
