We was told that the line up was so strong that some top top bands even headline material would be playing lower on the bill than you would expect.
Now i cant see this anywhere?
more the opposite like scissor "1 album, 6 years ago" sisters before muse and dizzee "im playing everywhere" rascal before u2.
Im disapointed

coldplay, rolf, robert plant or whoever they turn out to be
they will be announced at the fest or very close to

Madness are playing and aren't on the line-up so it's assumed they'll play, The Scissor Sisters supposedly confirmed Robert Plant as playing and he isn't on there yet, Coldplay would do literally anything for the Eavis' so they're supposedly opening Friday, and Rolf said he was likely to play.

Dizzee Rascal warmed up for Lily Allen in Manchester and London not so long ago, he will get the crowd going and up for U2 but he should'nt be that far up.
Vampire Weekend have had 2 average albums out and there 3rd on the lineup, I think theyre this high up due to there poularity.
Scissor Sisters well I dont know, I dont like them.

In fact, Rolf said he was trying to "work something out" or something like that - and I can't really see why he wouldn't be able to work something out - he doesn't strike as the greedy type.
But I must agree, if anything is disappointing about the lineup it's the friday and saturday pre-headliners. Dizzee, yes if Saturday was better - give a chance to a good, young, english talent if the other days are taken up with quality established acts. But for Saturday to be the Scissor Sisters - that's extremely disappointing. I really won't have it argued that Scissor Sisters are "big enough" - I know that doesn't really mean anything as it's mainly subjective. But they were never massively successful and there initial success was mainly down to the novelty of them. The novelty soon wore thin and the attraction vanished - and as far as I'm concerned the attraction hasn't returned.
I think Kasabian last year was a masterstroke - I know there are a lot of people round here who don't like them - but there performance last year, the amount of people it drew, will have had other festivals looking on in envy. I'm sure a lot of festivals would have taken them as a headliner this year so for Glastonbury to basically have a normal festivals headliner (if 12 months early) as a 2nd headliner was a bit of a coup in my eyes. I doubt we're going to be saying the same about Scissor Sisters this time next year - though I hope I'm proven wrong.

I don't know how many time's i'll end up saying this but Biffy Clyro are bigger than Scissor Sisters and they've got a few albums and a pretty recent one which is amazing, no?

The trouble is there probley will be a massive crowd there, not to watch them but waiting for MUSE to come on stage and everyone will be like told ya they would draw a big crowd.
Maybe if we all chant "We want MUSE, We want MUSE" then hopefully the Scissor sisters will storm off stage and MUSE can play a 3 hour set?

Both these statements are so true.
Biffy Clyro's recent album has been one of the most popular since last June so for them not to be on the lineup (currently) seems a bit strange.

would love to have biffy clyro up there!
And kasabian last year was great. headlining v and benicassim this year.
scissor sisters joint headlined v in 2005 and they havnt done anything since so its very poor.
should realistically be chem bros. now that would get the crowd going for muse

Fortunately you are still in time to cancel your ticket and we don't have to listen to you moaning.
Are you for real that you can't find any ''top top'' bands in the line up? Have you looked at ALL the stages??? If so I honestly don't know what you expect.

I do think it could be disaster but then it might not be, it could potentially be an amazing night! Infact it will!I don't know how many time's i'll end up saying this but Biffy Clyro are bigger than Scissor Sisters and they've got a few albums and a pretty recent one which is amazing, no?

I think moaning and saying we were misled is at this point a bit premature. There are a lot of people still to be announced. So far there isn't anyone playing lower but then I was hoping rather than expecting it, things get hyped up every year and this one's no different.
Anyone remember, the crowd safety issue that was going to happen for one of the biggest acts in the world today for the Dead Weather?

on the scissors sisters, it should noted that my personal opinon is that they should be shot for crimes against music for what they did to comfortably numb, however first album 7x platinum and a number one second album 4x times platinum and number one and third album out soon, also one novelty hit, i dont feel like dancing was played all over the place and was from second album, so at the least two novelty hits.
