Mongrel and I are planning on 3 flags.

He bought me a Devon one for Christmas, he's going to have a Derbyshire and then we are planning on creating some kind of nation of Mongrel flag. Possibly with an appearance of Magical Trevor :-) or a laughing mushroom, or both or Alf Stuart...

Answers on a postcard.

I bloody love that sausage flag, always raises a smile. Spam donkey is another personal favourite. Also, i don't recall seeing the bouncing inflatable monkey on a pole last year, please come back! He always looks like he's having a ball!

seeing as though I saw a number of rainbow 'peace' flags last year I was thinking of being ignorant and making a flag just a white background, green dots and the word 'peas'.........

either that or a big cannabis leaf and 'the REAL green party' lol

Flags are not required and just used by the sad "look at me im such a hipster" dickheads getting in the way of everyones view - pretty sad tbh.

Last year was the first time we took a flag. We brought it with us as our group exceeded 30 – so it was a really easy way for our group to meet up and it really works well, I have to admit that I never really saw the fuss with flags before – but they are actually a lot of fun. It kind of became a mascot of the group. You make a lot of friends through them as people use you as a landmark. All 30 of us held the flag. When we put it down – we had strangers using it as a landmark for their friends.  We tried to be as considerate with it as possible – and no one seemed to get angry with us. But then I suppose there are worse things to look at than a giant moustache.

I have a feeling that it’s only a matter of time now before flags get voted out a Glastonbury. Maybe not next year – but I think there really is a chance in the proceeding years. So I’m going to make sure we enjoy it again this time round.

I've never made a flag, but going to have a go i think. I reckon it'll be sh1t so no fear of it leaving the campervan area!

I honestly couldn't be bothered to carry a bloody big pole around all day either.

What about the people who couldn't see you and groups like you all over the the front of the stage? I am sure you could arrange to meet your group at other places than in the middle of a crowd. (Which is rather annoying have a chain of people find there mates just in front of you in its self.)
