Every monorail comment is usually quickly followed by an 'arena' one, which is then quickly followed by something else, until every thread goes completely off topic and questions someone has asked get completely forgotten. So for that reason, I'm fed up of the monorail.
Why did they even bother installing it....

I've just heard they've got the planning permission to extend it off site with stations at The Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Town, Cheddar Gorge, and Bristol! Should be ready by 2013!
Should make getting on and offsite much easier and quicker

Every time someone says the monorail doesn’t exist a monorail conductor dies.

I agree, what's funny about the monorail? It's really handy for getting back and forth to the arenas but it's just transport folks, not a stand up act.

Looking at the results of the poll so far it seems that I'm not the only one who feels that a moderately amusing April Fools Day news item from a couple of years ago really has had every last drop of humour wrung out of it and been ground into dust. Please let this be the end of it.

Agree that there is nothing funny about the monorail. Its a key part of the festival and not something we should laugh at as if its some kind of april fool or joke.
