One of those bands that think they are weird and kooky but try to be trendy and cool at the same time.

This is their most well known song:

Pssssh, your just assuming they are trying to be trendy and cool, but  they are awesome.

Will be awesome to see, will have to catch one performance :P

Worst 'band' I've ever seen live. Absolutly shockingly bad, they could be better on record but I doubt it very much.

A true pile of crap, despite that I bet they get a good ish slot on either the JP or Other Stage.

While I have nothing against the Eavis' booking people I don't like, they could at least book bands that are half decent.

I saw them in 08 & wasnt best impressed really. If they're playing twice I may give them another go as I really liked the first record, played it to death 2 summers ago, but they didnt come across well that day.
Wasn't the first album was also called Crystal Castles?

I think they're really good, but can understand why people don't. Wiki has worded it pretty well: "They have been described as "the kind of music that you just want to follow like a cult, or hate, with every fibre of your being.""

There's nothing even slightly "nu rave" about them.

I should love them, but I just can't get along with.

Reports of them being utter cretins to their support acts and stealing public access 8 bit backing tracks and then copyrighting it in their music doesn't help matters.

The only good thing they've done is their HEALTH remix, which they cunningly repositioned as "vs HEALTH" to make it look like it's their song. Not even the best remix on DISCO///

I'm looking forward to DISCO 2. A remix of Die Slow can't go far wrong!

Good choices sir, lemme add "Love and caring" to the list

Crystal castles are brilliant, they're really easy to hate and dismiss when you first listen to them but you just need to give them a chance to kind of "get" them (also watch live shows) - saying that though, they'd be nothing without Alice; the music works really well but it's her voice that does it. really powerful and raw

I heard they were playing when I went in 08 but missed them for whatever reason, will probably give em a gander this year round but we all know what happens to "plans" once you go through the gates
