Arcade Fire without a doubt.
The majority who have listened to both bands will share this view.

Pendulum. I've given Arcade Fire a listen and whilst I like a fair few of their songs I've never seen Pendulum live before and I still remember Hold Your Colour with fondness. Whilst musically AF seem to be a million miles away (although give Pendulum some credit, I hear Rob Swire does a lot of fancy production work etc...), I just don't feel I'd enjoy watching AF as much as I would going mental in a packed tent to Pendulum. A decent lockup headliner would definitely change my mind though.
Also both sides seem to have their "dicks", I've seen far too many people who assume that anyone who doesn't worship the ground AF walk on obviously "has never heard of them" or "needs to listen to real music...", yes Pendulum are a bit of a guilty pleasure, but what's wrong with that eh
?

I like both but I'll see Arcade Fire, am worried the crowd will be shit as anyone with a bit of energy will be over at Pendulum instead.

I have energy, i dont rate pendulum but i love arcade fire. By your logic i will not see Arcade Fire.
Clearly, your logic is flawed. Dont worry, it will be good. The only people who will see AF will be fans.

Prepare to be thoroughly dissapointed listening to an MC shout "WHEN I SAY T||EH DRUMZ YOU SHOUT TEH BAZZZ!" followed by the new albums in entirety followed by maybe 2 HYC songs if you're lucky (them being Tarantula and Slam ofc.)

I swear Pendulum don't have any real passionate fans.
Every time someone cites a reason for wanting to see them it's always stuff like 'the live show is mental' not that they actually really love the music. Whereas Arcade Fire fans obviously go on about the live show but seem to have real enthusiasm for the music at the same time.
