STEVIE WONDER

JACKSON BROWNE

RODRIGO Y GABRIELA

of course, technically speaking only one of these are actually confirmed, RYG, but if things go the way they're looking too, we have jackson headlining the acoustic stage on sunday, and stevie on the main.

Clash of the century for me, i'm a bigger Jackson Browne fan than both of the others, probably would wanna see Rodrigo Y Gabriela next, i'm on a massive kick of them right now, and obviously Stevie is just a living legend. Though Talking book, innervisions and music in the key of life are as far as I go. I couldn't be arsed with all the grannys singing "isn'ttt sheee lurrrrrvelyyyy" being my final glasto memory. Last year was roger mcguinn singing "turn turn turn" on sunday ... so '10 will have to top that.

Youre forgetting Glastonbury's house-band.

i'm in your boat...sunday night is rough. and that's after having written off Orbital, whom i'd love to see, but just can't do it given these 3... AND, if we find out later that someone like Mumford & Sons are closing out the Park on Sunday, i don't know what I'd do...

I want to see Stevie's set, as it will be a historic event and a once-in-a-lifetime thing. but a bit of me worries that it's going to be a Rod Stewart 2002-type safe set/disappointment. I hope someone reminds Wonderman that it's a field full of unshaven smelly hippies (yes, yes, i know that's not accurate) and not a bunch of well-groomed 60-somethings sitting in seats.

I'm thinking of starting off in either Acoustic or JazzField for a good 30 minute snippet (hopefully) and then heading to pyramid, in hope that i've missed "I Just Called To Say I Love You".

I haven't seen Jackson Browne yet so that could take priority, since I can see Rod 'n Gab again (or on the 29th of this month in fact). But them 2 in the JazzField seems like it would be a wonderful setting. and the Acoustic Tent will be rammed w/ inevitably horrible sight lines.

I've mentioned a few times on here, that I still hold out hope that Jackson Browne won't be headlining Acoustic.....that, ME will do what he did with John Fogerty (who he wanted to see), and put JB in an earlier slot so he can personally watch him and Wonder, given his keen love of Jackson Browne. I can't imagine he's going to miss Stevie Wonder closing out his festival!

Just as well, they'd clash with everyone.

Stevie or RyG is the killer. I wouldn't have minded anyone but those two clashing. Terrible luck.

Really not happy about Browne vs Wonder, even though I know that Wonder will win.

Bodes very well for the rest of the line-up though, that with one stage confirmed, I'm worried about clashes!
