Wanderlei
Jerry Dammers, Rodrigo y Gabriela & Toots & the Maytals are all cool. That is my opinion and i'm not saying anything else in this thread, other than i hope the TBAs are BB King and Prince Buster (he brings the heat with a rocksteady beat). There! Steve P
I may be mistaken Tommy, but I believe most of the names on that list are "bands" or "artists" that play "music". If hope i've not made a foolish error

RodimusPrime
Well that's kind of the point of Glastonbury, isn't it? You may not have heard of them, but you should be able to infer that a lot of people like them from the fact they're playing. So what you've got is a stage full of huge bands and artists that you've never heard of. So you can either whinge on message boards about the fact that not every stage at the festival exactly matches your existing tastes, or you can take the opportunity to expand your tastes a bit. Or not. There are other stages.

The rest are gonna be my Spotify mission for the next week or two...

Chazeboy
Been Myspacing alot of the ones i dont know about, trying to imagine being in the west holts stage field, listening, and some of them are very exciting, having never really heard of them before untill today (Brother Ali/Breakestra)or over the last few weeks (el Mariachi - steve P). Its one of my fave bits leading up to glasto, get on myspace/spotify etc, and have a listen, loud if possible, and have a drink or two if possible while doing said listening, its fecking ace. then i usually end up with a good few i fancy going to see, instead of dissmissing them straight away. Craig_G
Indeed. I have just added 4 Breakestra tracks to the Efestivals Spotify playlist. They are a contempory band who play authentic 60s/70s style soul n funk. Get the playlist and have a listen.
