the biggest dance tent (the one where east 17 played last year) is definitely bigger than the acoustic tent though...

I'm sure I saw details which list the maximum capacity of each of the main venues, but all I can find seems to be that the Pyramid holds about 90,000, the Other around 40,000 and JazzHolts 25,000.

there was a thread on it not long ago, was jazzworld not around the 40 - 50k mark as well?

Phenominal Handclap Band Saturday lunchtime(ish), are worth checking out I reckon
Saw them as support act at The Borderline sometime last year ... and they p!$$ed all over the main act
Not the kinda thing I would normally have gone to see at all but they were seriously good and I really enjoyed them ... as did the sizeable crowd of those who had turned up early. The same could not be said about Juliette Commagere however (who I'd kinda fancied seeing in the absence of anyone seemingly better playing anywhere in town) who was mucho cr@p and a significant %ge of said sizeable crowd had seemingly disappeared well before she was even half way through her set ! I defo feel that appropriate munchies plus a Pear Cider (or 6) whilst enjoying a li'l PHB will be the order of the day for Saturday lunch anyways

Phenominal Handclap Band good outsiders IMO. Have only one track of theirs which they clap all the way through. Is that what happens for all their tunes?!?

I know I'm late on this, but looks a good line-up for the stage.
George Clinton/Funkadelic
- now I know where I'll be at Saturday headliner time, barring any absolute miracles.
Rodrigo y Gabriela are a great choice also (saw them last time though so will probably mix it up)

was having a think about the 'TBC' on the Friday on West Holts, and was reminded of another thread discussing the likelihood of the Black Keys.
The only date the Black Keys could do would be the friday, with other commitments saturday and sunday. It was also mentioned they were meant to play a year or so back but pulled out...
So how about it - Black Keys 3rd from top on the friday? They did work with Mos Def not so long ago with Blak Rok................Maybe not a West Holts type band though?
