Chafing gel fuel - any good to cook on ?

Anyone ever used Chafing gel fuel to cook on ? I know there only intended for keeping food warm, but they get plenty hot enough, spotted them being used at work recently, and thought they looked quite handy for festivals.

As you said, they're only intended to warm things up.

I guess it depends on how much time you've got and whether you actually want to cook something or not. :P
