I've just on pure impulse (and I really can't afford it) bought a day ticket for the friday at leeds, as I'm sure many people will be doing.

The reason I've bought a day tickets is not because I'm nearby and can just go for the day - it's basically because no way can I afford the full weekend ticket. £80 is far enough.

I noticed with Reading you could by car parking tickets but for Leeds you couldn't. I'll have to come over 100 miles to get there. I'd happily come by car but then what would be the procedure for parking? I assume other alternatives (train/coach) would be unjustifiably expensive as I'm only going for a day - they'd probably be almost the same price as the ticket :P

Hi !

Leeds has free car parking , its set in in a country park so there is plenty of room.

I think there are special car parks for day tickets but I could be wrong , if not all the car parks
have exits.

Also Leeds is a bit laid back about camping so with a bit of thought you would be able to camp
on the Friday night have a  drink and go home the following day !

And depending where you live you could get megabus which is really cheap. However that will only drop you off in Leeds centre so you would need to get the shuttle bus or a taxi from there. Car is probs the easiest
