Saving Campsite Space

So this year there's rather a large group of us intending to camp together at Leeds. There's approximately 12 of us going down on wednesday with early bird tickets, with roughly 6-8 tents between us, then another 12 coming on the thursday, which would be another 6-8 tents approximately. Do you guys reckon we'd get away with setting up all of the tents in blue camp (which shouldn't totally fill up with early bird-ers anyway, right?) and saving the space for the people who're coming the next day without any hassle from other people? Just I remember reading last year somewhere that people can get disgruntled with this, but it's not like there's 2 of us saving space for 10 tents, there's still a substantial amount of people there.

I don't think you could keep room for that many tents althoygh we stay in yellow which gets really busy. We usually either just space our. Tents a little bit more (although never for that many tents). More often though we take our mates tents for them and set them up, guarenteed space then!

Last year we got there on the Wednesday with two tents, pitched them ok, woke up later that day and the campsite supervisors were helping someone get there tent in the small space between ours.
Just saying, unless you camp somewhere with alot of free space you'll get told to move your tents and other people will take your spaces.

if people want you to save them space, take their tent and set it up for them. dont do what a lot of pricks do and corden off an area with tape. this is antisocial and i hate it.

That is the plan, to take their tents up and set them up for them.
