30stm?
the lack of Hole and MCR has been discussed, but i was sure (along with others, and hints on R1) that 30stm would play.

They should play on the friday.
In a tent.
In Russia, where I can't hear them.

scottt, on Mar 30 2010, 12:44 AM, said:problem is they havent really done festivals and they arent exactly a big name yet so they wont get up there without touring a few bigger stages - i know they did wembley arena recently and i love their music but i think they need time to get to the main stage or even headlining the nmeTheyre much bigger than Billy Talent. They did an arena tour a few months ago i think. I was expecting third or fourth from top on the main.
and by billy talent establishing themselves theyve got onto the main stage

the special guests on Nme/r1 stage pendulum day perhaps they're doing download so maybe that's why it hasn't been announced yet

they were on radio 1 today and said they would love to play reading/leeds so i guess if they are asked they will play, regardless of where on what stage

I'm sure they would love to play, doesn't mean it'll happen though.
Maybe next year, but hopefully never.

When were 30STM ever rumoured? Download exclusives by the look of it.

MCR is a big omission considering they were rumoured heavily. What happend there? Personally I think it make the festival better them not being there!

Having such a high slot at Download ruled them out imo.
