Now I dont mind him playing the festival. The last couple of times I've seen him I though he was good but
3rd from the top, really.......
He has been popular because he was the alternative act during the day that worked with the crowd. 3rd from top is a very important role and I just carnt understand why MF decided to go with him there.

pretty bonkers i think

He's had 3 no. 1 singles and draws a big crowd and even he wins over people who aren't fans live.

Id say hes as big as Maximo Park, The Fratellis and The Raconteurs.

he's been pretty solid at Reading over the years, had a couple of number 1 singles etc. probably more well known to most people than Arcade Fire tbh.

I just think its a strange act for 3rd top
3rd top is the band that gets the crowd going at the start of the evening stage. People have had tea and are starting to get positions for the headliner and sub. Just dont see how Dizzee fits in in comparison with other years

Check him out and you will see why he is where he is. He will get the crowd going more than most artists. Seen him 3 times now (twice at Reading) and he always gets the crowd pumped.

Because Maximo Park and Prodigy were seamless.

But live, he really gets the crowd going, and its just too easy to have a good time regardless of his music.Check him out and you will see why he is where he is. Ive seen him 4 times, just dont think he deserves the 3rd from top spot.
Placebo, Ash, libertines, Incubus, Queens Of The Stoneage, Razorlight, My Chemical romance, Yeah Yeah yeahs, The Streets, Lost Prophets, Maximo Park, Block Party, The Fratellis, The Raconteurs, Feeder
Doesnt really go with those bands does it.

Meh, I'll be there enjoying myself not moaning about who does and who doesn't deserve a certain spot.

He was at V last year, and the crowd was huge, bigger than most other acts.
No problem playing that high up

He's more popular than most of those bands are/were at the time they plated 3rd on the bill though.
My only gripe with him playing is he has played/is playing so many different festivals over the last couple of years that he is in danger of over exposure, and people getting bored of him. I hope not though, as he is definitely more fun and better live than most of the acts you mention.

3rd from top is probably about right. Doesn't change the fact I can't stand him and that Bonkers 'song' though.
