People who think GnR are gunna be terrible need to check out that vid, and this is coming from someone who probably will be in the Lock Up rather than watch them.
Other than that I am happy with it, so many good bands on this first announcement compared to last years.

I'm very happy. I won't lie and say "I couldn't have asked for anything better" but there's a lot there I'm pleased with (NOFX, Guns N' Roses, Pendulum, Limp Bizkit, Cypress Hill, Paramore, Weezer, Blink 182) and obviously with more to be announced, I'm very much looking forward to it.
Also, I'm treating Reading this year as my official stag do (getting married in September) so more reason to enjoy myself!

Pretty happy, the only headliner I want to see is Arcade Fire but I only saw Radiohead last year and had a great time. I'm excited to see Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer and Modest Mouse, and then lots of bands I know I'll enjoy seeing like Biffy Clyro, LCD Soundsystem, The Big Pink, Dizzee Rascal Frank Turner, Cyrpess Hill and Limp Bizkit.
Definatly better than last years first announcement, but then again most the bands I liked were on the FR stage anyway.

I'll see your Welcome to the Jungle, and raise you a Paradise City
From about 4:15 onwards that still gives me the chills. Even with no sound on at work. I doubt it'll be the same this time now they're more 'established' in their touring, but the whole day just had something special about it. Will they/won't they, every 2nd person seemed to have a GnR t-shirt on, people walking round dressed as Slash n Axl, the whole day running 'late' so it was basically a full day of festival till 11, but with a bonus GnR gig from 12-2.
