so if it's the same weekend then it obviously rules them out? well depends on days surely?

I saw something about this the otherday, that Blink were playing the Friday there or something?

wow if thats true it would throw more than a spanner into the works
i have a feeling something doesnt add up though, cant see neil being wrong on 2 of the headlining bands
EDIT - yeah i suppose it would depend on days, but still, surely playing 2 days out of 3 at reading/leeds and then playing the other in paris is a bit... unnusual?

Not at all, happens every year.
Faith No More headlined Rock En Seine last year for example, and I think Rage the year before.

Yeah last year Faith No More, Prodigy, Metric, Eagles of Death Metal, YYYs, Bloc Party etc... all played both.
If anything, it near-confirms them.

Last years line up including quite a few bands that played Leeds:
Friday's line-up includes Oasis, Amy Macdonald, Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, Madness, Keane, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vitalic, Just Jack, Bill Callahan, Passion Pit, Asher Roth, The Tatianas, Gush, James Hunter, and Oceana.
Saturday's bill includes Faith No More, The Offspring, Birdy Nam Nam, Yann Tiersen, The Horrors, Calvin Harris, School Of Seven Bells, Noisettes, Ebony Bones, Esser, Kitty Daisy And Lewis, Jil Is Lucky, and Cheveu.
Sunday's acts include The Prodigy, MGMT, Klaxons, Macy Gray, Eagles Of Death Metal, Metric, Sliimy, Sammy Decoster, Robin Mc Kelle, Baaba Maal, Patrick Wolf, Lilly Wood & The Prick, Hindi Zahra, and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble
And maybe more I missed.... So adds up really.

fair enough, i stand corrected.
if its a regular occurance then i would say it does add a bit of strength to some of the rumours

adds fuel to the fire of these rumours
i'd go out on a limb and see QOTSA, Blink and AF will all play
but its not as if we've known that for months

Bands play Reading, Leeds & Rock am Seine all the time -
Prodigy, FNM, Bloc Party & others did them all last year,
NIN did them all back in 2007 and many more other bands have done the same
Like a previous poster said it isn't rocket science...too me that basically nails on that all of them are playing R/L that weekend
