I imagine they'll play a middle of the day slot on the Radio 1 Stage - Festival Republic was a little crazy (for an indie=pop band at least) in 2008, and their next London headline slot is at Shepherd's Bush Empire so I reckon that slot nwould fit them right (so I doubt they'll make it on to the first announcement, unless FR have decided to give us more this year).

They wont Radio 1 it,
I can see them headlining FR quite comfortably, elle goulding is going to be one headliner as she is top of the bbc sound for 2010 which usually lands you that spot. They really wont suit Radio 1 at all
I will be interested to see where Johnny Foreigner appear as well

Ask them on Formspring. They'll either say no, or Gareth'll give you a really cryptic answer that means yes
. Anyhoo, I hope they play, headlining FR Stage while Guns 'n' Roses are on would be an amazing end to the weekend.

I don't think they'll be apearing this year. I can't find the interview but I think Gareth said that they were trying to avoid festivals they'd played before. Having already played in 2008 they probably won't be there this year

I watched them in 2008 not knowing who they were, i was dragged alone by a friend, but they were really good. Really fun live band, wouldn't ind seeing them again.
