so you have no problems with someone coming on here a month before the festival just to look for backdoor links (as you put it) but if you do it on the day its wrong?

I agree with that bit, i know several people who regularly read-up on these forums but dont have an account, mainly during college

But i disagree with the backdoor links business,

i foundo ut what a backdoor link was about 2 days ago on one of the threads on here
