+1. All time favourite gig, especially the way they made the motorbike sample run from Bristol to Brighton in the background. All we need now is some old school micro-dots for a legendary evening.

Thanks Lucy.  I also got that warning from ppl as well!  But in the end I had to leave early and missed it.  

I must say, was awesome getting free tickets last year!

that's the one and as fate would have it i was just burning another copy of Live 93..

LEEDS (rearrange the syllables), sphincter twitching bass at the end and the littlest fluffiest cloud ever made overhead from the supersaturated steam machine at the back of he stage

in 2008 after his sunday lunchtime dub set (following a fkn amazing set from Donn Letts to boot) in the dance village, i asked The Good Dr if he did actually make it rain in '93 (as those that were there all seem certain they did) and was that the best show he ever played???

clearly a standard answer to pepetuate the myths but great anyway..

I remember the 'watch the skies' sample rolling over the crowd, and we all looked up a the same time and the sky was literally changing colour in front of our eyes. I know it was down to low cloud cover, the amount of smoke they pumped out, and lighting make the most of it the environmental conditions, but it was still the maddest light show I've ever seen in 25 years of gigging. If they even come close to that this year it will be fantastic. If the quality of the available drugs come close to that night it will be even better!

Sweet! Will most def try catch one of the shows....

This line up is getting better and better.............but it will mean more horrible horrible clashes!

But add the Orb to a line up that already has Vanilla Ice............who could ask for anything more!!

remember the fireworks going off above the clouds and bursting out below? looked liek the bottom of the clouds were exploding with light
also the lasers round the front of the crowd making the 'rain' glitter as it came down

Yeah, the fireworks that night were staggering. I'd forgotten about the lasers though! I'd love to see film footage of that night, but as far as I know there isn't any. If there is, I'd love to know.
