Im taking a Flag or two, a chair and now you mention it an umbrella would be handy too!
Are we allow to take tents? Or do they block the view from the campsite?  :P
The good thing about tents is that if you pitch them in the crowd at the Pyramid stage they'll be removed.   :P

The amount of flags was so high last year it was incredible.

I was trying to watch Kasabian on the Saturday night when we couldn't see the stage due to flags, we thought sod it and moved so we could watch them on the centre screen, and lo behold there were flags blocking the view of half the screen too.

That's your problem right there...

The poll run on the official site was a waste of time because the wrong questions were asked.

There is no reason to ban flags altogether, but there is a complete need to ban them from in front of the main stages. Guarantee if the stewards stopped people with flags from going into the golden circle at the pyramid the problem would be solved. But as far as I can tell this isnt going to happen, so more and more vain, selfish, twats will block the views again this year  :P

***and relax***

I will be taking the biggest flag I can possibly carry this year and try and spend as much time in front of the Pyramid stage. I want to encourage as many people to do this. Imagine if nearly everyone had a massive flag, surely then the organisers might do something about removing  flags in front of stages. Fair enough we'll have one year where no one can see any of the bands but this sacrifice would be worth it for the future.

I took several flags last year, and flew them on an old fishing rod.
Got lots of good comments about them and had a good laugh as a result.
When the bands came on, I took the fishing rod apart, rolled it all up, took about four seconds, no hassle.
At the main stages, they add a lot to the atmosphere, and a few flying while the band is on is not a problem for me, but if everybody had one up it would be ridiculous.
