yeah. saw the raconteurs in glorious sunshine on saturday afternoon in 2008 and it's one of my favourite glastonbury performances. caught the dead weather at the park last year - enjoyed it, but not amazing. would love to see the stripes.

Saw the White Stripes in 05 I think, and they were pretty good. Saw the Dead Weather too last year and thought they were total shit. But I expected that before from what I'd heard. Awful stuff. After a brief "You'd defo give her one though wouldn't you?!" conversation about Alison Mosshart, we toddled off somewhere else.

Dead Weather very disappointing last year. I hope JW finds his way back as so far most of what he's done has been downhill from the Stripes > Raconteurs > DW.

The Dead Weather have got a new album out in May. Stripes are supposedly recording a new album but not untill mid summer so it looks like TDW are most likely.

i really like dead wether musically but some of the writting is way off lyrically. I'm really hoping Jack has written more songs for the second album as i don't think alisons songs were very good on the first.
Have to say as well when i saw the dead weather at o2 in newcastle it was alot better. Doesn't suit them playing in the sun.

i was disappointed as well. was looking forward to it, even though i hadn;t heard much of their stuff. 'awful' is an apt word. started out near front, then moved back a bit, and then i actually sat down and took a nap on the hill, pint rested nicely by my side.

oh, and i wouldn't have...(alison)

white stripes in '02 blew me away.

Jack will be there somewhere. he's been at every one since '05

The year the White Stripes headlined the Pyramid, they were incredible.

And really enjoyed the Dead Weather last year - proper filthy rock'n'roll!

I really got into it, when Jack came out from behind the drums, but i hadnt heard any of their stuff and was pleasantly surprised enough to buy the album.

agree with the sunshine not suiting them though. tent would be good.

I think he will be there somewhere, even if its just playing with someone else

I think Jack White is one of the best guitarists of the modern age and every time i've seen him (with white stripes and Raconteurs) he has blown me away.

I would love a White Stripes set definately!!
