Anyone heard any news on Roisin Murphy playing this summer?
She had a baby in January this year but has released a couple of quality tunes over the last couple of months. By June hopefully she will be in a position to start playing the odd few gigs. Never seen her live and each time she has been at Glasto it's clashed with something else.

Oh I hope so - loved it when she performed on Jazzworld a few years back and she was equally as excellent when I saw her at Camden Roundhouse.
Couldn't get near anything when she did the Queen's Head the other year though and didn't fancy standing around in the rain.

Would have loved to have seen her at the Queen's head but it was the one year I couldn't go! Reckon she's really underrated though and deserves much more exposure than she currently gets.

It was quite disappointing really .... I love her ballsy stage persona, but off-stage she seemed like the meekest female you'd ever see, holding fella's hand or trotting along behind him
I have a feeling that I might have missed seeing her perform (I can't remember), but did catch her at Solfest the (I think) same year, and she was as superb as ever.
When Moloko played at V a number of years back, I insisted that the Metallica fan photographer I had working there with me go and see them (so he could photo them, so I could enjoy the set) .... he hadn't ever even heard of them, but he was completely blown away, best band he saw all weekend he said.

I also saw her in 2003 with Moloko and she was just as good then, it was a lovely sunny day aswell.saw her in the queen's head on the thursday night in 2008. superb.
love to see her again.
