.. according to this Daily Star article published half an hour ago.
No mention of R/L but surely it makes it more likely.
It's looking more and more possible by the day that the Libs will indeed play.
Surely got to be a SR now?

I literally cannot wait if it turns out to be true, one of the bands I was brought up on. GNR looking extremly likely as well with this news (Tho i'm nt bothered about that).

It just seems to be a photo of them together?
I don;t particularly wanna see them but it does seem more likely now

I would just worry they would never turn up. If they did headlin it would be a dilema as to whether go on thier day or the blink day - would rest on the other acts I suppose.

so the daily star reports it and it's true? I wouldn't wipe my arse with the daily star

this is the same paper that a couple of weeks ago was saying Green Day were a R/L headliner this year, and most people were saying "the Daily Star doesn't get these things wrong".
But this time they might be right, who knows?

I think someone knows they've got the headliners wrong this year?

But if that photo is from the last day or two and they've only just 'made up', then it seems unlikely they'd be booked for R/L.

There's a difference between 'making up' and making up publicly though, look how long in advance we knew that blink were going to reform, it just took a while for it to become official.

The promise of money can do crazy things to junkies.

Nobody's got a better source than the Daily Star?
I know it's likely, what with rumours and the fact that Carl and Pete have probably run out of money but I wouldn't get excited on the back of a red-top's "told you so" report.

So the Daily Star could have got both things right here, by saying the Libertines are back together, and Green Day could still headline.this is the same paper that a couple of weeks ago was saying Green Day were a R/L headliner this year, and most people were saying "the Daily Star doesn't get these things wrong".
