Hey, so yeah, I'm used to the forum but only just signed up  :P

This year is going to be my fourth Glasto but this is the first time i'm going without any adults, family, friends ect

just wondering what the scenario is on weather there are any carpark tickets that you can buy still as when we got our tickets in oct we didnt think we would be able to drive

Can't find anything about getting them on the website

Secondly we're all seventeen, do they ever actually ask you for i.d if you come on site with alcohol, i know they do at reading but never seen it happen at glasto

cheers, hi again :P

my advice would be to take booze anyway. it is so expensive in there that it is worth the risk in trying to take it in. the security staff do not really care too much about people smoking weed in there, so with booze being drank by someone 1 years under the legal age limit - i cnt imagine them being too anal about it. plus...don’t forget that you can not take in glass bottles, so poor whatever you get (my advise is spirits, place them in 1ltr bottles of either lemonade or coke (depending on what you take in). that way they will not know what you have and will not open the lid to sniff and see.

hope this helps.

Q1; I bought my car park ticket close to the event by ringing seetickets
no problem there

Q2;  I should think as long as you don't draw attention to youself with drunken antics then fine
Think maturity and low profile not 'look at me i have booze'

The bars have strict policy on under 21 looking adults without ID

My 20 year old nephew had issues with a over enthusiastic young jobsworth at the ciderbus even though I was with him (40 year old) and  stated I was buying not him  - they even dragged security out when I decided to politely argue that he was over 18, and gave them his DOB etc etc
I got our drinks
You may not be so lucky unless you get ID

I was 16 when i went last year, and we walked through the gates with plenty of alchol :P. They didn't check none of our bags or anything.

Last year we were all 18 (my friends were only 18 by a month or two though) and we strolled in with my mate carrying a crate of 24 John Smith's. No one questioned it at all and it never seemed like they were even considering it. They made no reference to it. Just checked out tickets and let us in.

(Not sure if they tickets have D.o.B on or not - can't remember, but don't think they do.) :P
