hey guys!
my sister and i were meant to go to glasto together but turns out she has other commitments. ive tried to encourage my mates to quickly register and buy the resale tix but theyre not interested!

so my question is...is glasto good when you are going alone? does anyone has past experience of going alone?

Hell yeah, Glasto is amazing on your own - just make friends with ya neighbours, and other random types.

It appears there are plenty of semi-organised camps popping up on here, such as THIS ONE for example.

First time I went I was on my own it was great so good in fact that now there are about 8 of us who go together but I'm probably only with my friends for about 20% of the time as I prefer to go where I want do what I want when I want!! I'd have no problem at all going by myself again.

glasto is the one festival where going on your own doesn't seem to be such a big deal, so much to do, so many friendly people, and as said a lot of others on their own on here, check out the efests camp

You'll never be alone at Glasto - unless you want to be.  I don't think you even need to go to the 'organised' camps.  Just say hello to your neighbours.  If you've got something to share - even like a brew for a cup of coffee - you'll get off to a flying start.
It's all about helping each other and making new friends.

I went last year on my own and had the best time you possibly could do, made good friends with my neighbours and still in contact with them now and even going down with them again this year!
You will have the best time with anybody you meet everyone is so friendly theres no way you will feel that your alone!

This will be my 5th festival, normally i go with friends, but because of us being slack with tickets this year, i am now going on my own!

At first i felt a bit nervous, but as it draws nearer, ive come to realise that there really isnt anything to worry about!

How ive come to look at it, is that i can do what i want when i want! If i want to meet new people, really dont have to look far as people have said previously!

You will have a awesome time!!

Not long now!
