Im not taking any food with me this year because I felt it was a waste last year because of all the great places to eat. I did my own breakfast round my camp last year but dont even want to do that this year, so what are the best places to get a good breakfast.

Had a great breakfast up in the Green Fields. Think it was called Small World Cafe, egg butty, tea/coffee and a fruit salad. Think it was about £4

We had a great one in The Park on Sunday. Had to queue, but was worth it. It was right at the top in the left hand corner, just after the entrance.
Peace x

There was a good place opposite the Orange Chill n' Charge tent that did goos bacon & sausage butties and the like.
The Tea & Toast caravan in the Park was also very good and reasonable (mmmm organic honey).
Didn't venture into the Greenfields last year but have been told since that they food is excellent there so will be trying that this time round.

We've had good fry ups at I think it was called Lou Lous cafe near home ground I think. Its on its own actually surrounded by tents. Full fry up and tea, great way to get the day started.

For me the best breakfasts are up in the Green Fields. Personally I like Henry's Beard and the Buddhafields Cafe but there are many other good places mostly vegetarian though ...
Food up in GF is best on site imo. Go and find out for yourself !

I always say this in every breakfast thread but Manic Organic in the Greenfields do a big breakfast which will fill you up. It is really nice. Worth having.

gorgeous food there aye but as a poor student (please, no sniggering) i can't afford three meals a day of festival vendor's ware.
i always find a tin of sausage and beans and a can of relentless set me up for the day nicely.
that said, last year i did go to the stall mentioned by Runner and it was excellent. Assuming we're talking about the same one.
and the GF food is all great.

Yeah, Lou Lou's is great. It's near the long drops (although not too near) at Top Webbs Ash.
Can't say I've tried anywhere else though - that's about as far as I can make it at that time of day.

The sausage, bacon and egg rolls from the Bath Organic Farms van are all good. It's just before the bridge as you head from Jazzworld towards Babylon Market and where Queens Head used to be.

I remember one of the mexican places in Babylon used to do a Mexican Breakfast which was ace.
Refried beans spread on a paper plate, then tortilla chips pushed in, a fried egg on top, then smothered with salsa, grated cheese and soured cream.

Used to take our own food, last year we took some but ended up eating in greenfields area, lots of choice,i seem to remember having a real good vege breakfast from some place to the left of the Greenpiece place, bought the beakfast and had it in the coffee place oposit Greenpiece area sitting on the log seats outside...Very nice and reasonable value as well. Don't buy from the burger vans ect near the Pyramid area, its dreadfull and a rip off. Will take some food this year but mainly munchies for late night snack..Pot noodles ect.
Oh !! and dont buy from the "I Love Sausage" man...lets see if we can bankrupt him

I eat out during the day but still need a few strong coffees and a bit of breakfast to get me started.
Best investment I ever made was a little Gelert toaster to go on top of a gas burner.

It folds flat, weighs virtually nothing and takes up little space. And when you get a toast factory going everyone loves it. Toast and maramalde, toast and Marmite. We even had toast and home made smoked mackerel pate last year.

Breakfast Pie from Pieminister. Tis a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, tis an extremely rare thing of beauty! Only managed to get one at Glasto once, I think they do it more frequently at smaller fests as they always have them at EP.

Where did you get that? It looks like a great little thing to take, plus everyone loves toast!
Last year I normally went and had some of that amazing organic yogurt in the Mornings, did wonders for a hangover.

Yep, another one for Lou Lou's here, at least I think its Lou Lou's? I thought it was more near the crossroad paths in Big Ground by the family fields, definetly not Top Webbs Ash. Its amongst the tents but on a path, nothing special, basically just a white marquee with a long bar serving up nice freshly cooked grub by what looked liked volunteers/local nice polite people etc. And at very reasonable prices. Found myself here a few times the past couple of years, its easy to spot because theres only one or two food outlets up that way.
