Has anyone done days at both R&L? It might sound mad but i'm seriously considering it if the Libertines play.

I was referring to the stage manner which he uses as well, it just doesn't look right and a bit wrong. Though I will say his style does him no favours whatsoever and doesn't add to the 'show' if you know what I mean. Likewise if the strokes became overweight and started dressing like Rage then they would lose a bit of their charm.

I've never done it but I'd be tempted for the Libertines. If only I got my student loan before Monday then I'd definitely be doing it

Now 1.you spend your whole first day looking forward to them and not enjoying the day fully, then 2.you spend your 2nd day stressing/travelling because of them, therefore miss tonnes of other decent acts and all because of an act that might not play.
You may like them but they are not that spectacular. They aren't worth it. Stay at one festival and maybe see them but see loads of other decent acts or go to 2 and maybe see them twice. Waste of time and money if ye ask me.

I can't even begin to imagine the uproar if they agreed all this reunion stuff and then someone (NOT necessarily Peter
) didn't turn up. Especially with the sums of money being banded around.

Looks like they'll be quite a few of us considering it then!

I know people who've done it for British Sea Power!! I'm sure it happens quite frequently - there are many acts that have a core of fans who follow them around, and two festival sites across a weekend isn't that much of a challenge.

I don't suppose anyone has looked up a copy of the NME today have they? I read at the back where they advertise the next issue and next week it's all about Reading and Leeds along with the line "You'll never guess who's back to headline"............Eminem?

Amongst losers who have nothing better to spend their money on.

Hopefully more people will consder seeing them at both, and if they play Leeds first it clears them off the site before the Sunday night meaning less burning of tents

Quality post, hahaha!
I wouldn't be traveling all those mile missing other bands to see 2 45 -60 minute sets. Theres not even any gaurantee they will be sub-headlining yet. I still think QOTSA could play there with Libs underneath.
